Launching The Safe Space Initiative for Children on the Autism Spectrum

4 August 2021

For the 9th consecutive year, The Marigold Foundation  re launched The Safe Space Initiative  for families of children on the autism spectrum and with rare conditions.

Collaborating with The Meeting Place in Marsa, Michelle Muscat Chairperson of The Marigold Foundation said that as from today the ground at The Meeting Place will be open for families whose children need a safe open and yet enclosed space to let their children run and play freely while they get a few quiet moments to themselves.  With COVID 19 measures in place, the Foundation urges families to book their time session beforehand but walk-ins are accepted too.

During the same event the Association of Parents of Children with Autism was presented  with the annual donation which will enable the Association to continue with its membership within Autism Europe enabling Maltese families to unlock tools and knowledge that can help these families live a better way of life.
