Marigold Meeting Autism Parents Association 2022

20 July 2022

The Marigold Foundation and the Autism Parents Association

Autism and people on the spectrum have been one of the causes supported actively by The Marigold Foundation. For the past 8 years Marigold has lobbied for the Safe Space Initiative – providing safe spaces for those on the spectrum during the summer months.

As from today the ground at The Meeting Place will be open for families on the Autism Spectrum who need a safe, open and yet enclosed space to let their children run and play freely while they get a few quiet moments to themselves.

Michelle Muscat Chairperson of The Marigold Foundation said that such initiatives serve to give families on the spectrum the opportunity to spend some free carefree moments stressing the need for parents to also take care of their well being whilst still caring for their families. Marigold took this opportunity to consolidate its annual support towards the Autism Parents Association including its collaboration with AutismEurope.

Emma Mc Ewen Secretary of APA said that such initiatives are more than welcome by their Association which strives to make its members’ lives a little bit easier. Mrs Mc Ewen thanked The Marigold Foundation for its continuous support throughout these years without which such initiatives will not be possible for them.

The Meeting Place in Marsa will be available from 6pm onwards daily without the need for appointment. Other times upon availability can be booked in advance by sending an email on [email protected] or contact on 25903493 or on The Meeting Place Facebook.
