The Marigold Foundation has launched its first mobile unit to support cancer patients who require treatment in their own homes.

During a press conference held outside the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, a specially equipped van was unveiled. The van is fitted with the necessary refrigeration units to ensure that treatments are delivered at the required temperatures to patients across the country.

Marigold Chairperson, Michelle Muscat, emphasized that this mobile unit for patients is the first of its kind in Malta, making the ‘Oncology at Home’ project a reality.
