Discussing rare diseases and universal health care across the world means looking for cooperation and collaboration with countries across the globe and remains the main aim of partecipating in such international foras.

We are representing our Maltese patients at the WHO 77th Rare Diseases Event ‘’Why Invest in Rare Diseases? Ensuring Universal Health Coverage for Persons Living with a Rare Disease,” an in-person event co-hosted by France, Malaysia, Egypt and Rare Diseases International in Geneve.

We will discuss on how to ensure greater equity for all Persons Living with a Rare Disease (PLWRD) and make Universal Health Coverage (UHC) a reality.
